Enhance your driving skills and become an all round, safer driver with our Defensive Driving Course.
This course provides you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to be a safer driver, such as identifying hazards early, so you can reduce the risk of being involved a crash.
6 Months Reduction on license.
Restricted License holders can use the certificate from this course to receive a time reduction on their Restricted License from 18 months down to 12 months, if under 25 years of age. If you are 25 years of age plus, then you can reduce your Restricted License time from 6 months to 3 months
Course details.
- Course takes place over a three-week period.
- There are four two-hour sessions between 6pm and 8pm.
- Thursday 20th March, Monday 24th March, Thursday 27th March and Monday 31st March.
- Some homework is required to be completed between sessions.
- A one-hour, practical driving lesson is also included but must be completed within 60 days after course ends.
- All students are encouraged to already have a restricted drivers license to attend this course.
- Please note: All four sessions must be attended to get a certificate of completion.
